Statement of Faith

  • The Father
    • We believe in the One True God, the creator of the Heaven and the Earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the “I am” that sent Moses into Egypt. He existed before the beginning and is eternal having no beginning or end.
  • The Son
    • We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God the Father who is God manifested in the flesh. It is our position that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. This same Jesus was crucified on a cross and rose from the dead three days later in bodily form and sits alive at the right hand of God the Father.
  • The Holy Spirit
    • We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit. This is the one Jesus spoke of that would be sent to dwell in all believers who serves as our comforter and teacher. The Holy Spirit, being equal with Christ and the Father, gives gifts to all who believe as he wills.
  • The Scriptures
    • We believe that all scriptures contained in the sixty-six books of the bible are inspired by God and are without error and contradiction. These are the words that we hide in our hearts as they are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. It is these scriptures that testify to the persons of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • Man
    • We believe that man was created by God from the dust of the Earth and the first created man was Adam and the first created woman was Eve. They were created in the day as it is written in the scriptures of the Old Testament.
  • Salvation
    • We believe that there is only one way to gain eternal life and that way is through believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son. It is through belief in Christ and confession that God has raised him from the dean that one can be saved. Salvation is a gift that is freely given rather than being earned through works.
  • The Church
    • We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, rather than a building or congregation, comprised of all gifted believers which is not confined to one geographic location or ethnic group. It is this body the Christ will return for without spot or blemish.
  • Sin
    • We believe that sin first entered the world through Adam and Eve as Eve was tempted by the serpent in the garden. All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God, and the wages of sin is death. Also, sin is not limited to willful and deliberate acts. There can be trespasses against others that one may commit unknowingly, thus it is still sin.
  • Heaven
    • We believe in a literal Heaven where there are many mansions prepared for those whom Jesus will return for. Heaven is where God the Father resides with Jesus Christ the Son and where we hope to arrive in order to live eternally with them.
  • Hell
    • We believe in a literal Hell, referred to in scripture as the Lake of Fire. Though the wording of scripture denotes the grave or a literal place in Israel, we have given this term to the final destination of Satan, his angels, Hades, and all those whose names are not found in the Book of Life. In this place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for all eternity.
